What support is needed for the franchising process?

Come and meet us at The British and International Franchise Exhibition next month on Stand A60!

What support is needed for the franchising process?

The first franchise will be the toughest. This is to do with franchisees seeking reassurance, which they can get from knowing there is a network of franchisees that have successful businesses.

So selling the first franchise will be a bit of a struggle, as it will be a voyage of faith for them.

Getting your first franchise up and running can take time and you want to make sure that you get it right. You may face a setback if you don't get it right.

The first few franchises will help you sell future franchises. As prospective franchisees will want to talk to the first few franchisees to check that what you say about the business is true.

Going from a few franchisees up to 10 franchisees, will be easier than getting the first few to sign up.

When you go beyond 14/15 franchisees you may find that the support model may tend to creek.

You have to think about how your own support team will keep pace with the growth. Especially as new franchisees will be quite demanding.

When you get to 15 franchisees, you will probably want to add to your support team.
